Website, that is… Not that I couldn’t benefit from a makeover, but I have my priorities. I won’t belabor the point, but thought I’d give you a little background on how I ended up here.
As many of you know, I’ve been writing on the intersection of simple living and wellness for over five years on my Simply Enough blog. I’ve also had a website at tabitagreen.com that I set up when I was doing Internet marketing. It had a picture of me in a suit, which truly frightened some people who know me well.
When I started thinking about being an author and how I should promote that, I did some research to see what other entrepreneur authors did with web. I looked at RowdyKittens, Chris Guillebeau, and The Minimalists, to name a few. I decided I wanted one simple website, focused on my writing—with my name.
So, I called up my friend Nathan Dirks and told him I was ready to spend some money on a simple, but unique website. I also asked Samuel Sander, who created my book cover, to make me a header that incorporates some of my sister Priscilla’s beautiful cover art. Finally, I asked my colleague Aaron Lurth to snap some photos of me (and Rebecka). And here we are!
It feels great to have consolidated my websites and have one place to focus my energy. I’m excited about getting back to posting weekly on the blog (now that I can see the light at the end of the self-publishing tunnel). And I look forward to meaningful conversations with all of you.
