One of the best perks of living simply is having more time. Time to do things you enjoy. Time to help others. Time to do nothing.
I am thankful for time.
Today, I had time to sleep in, cook a bowl of quinoa cereal, eat breakfast, bike, lift weights, shower, go to the co-op, buy a cake pan, bake a cake, learn how to cook lentils, each lunch, sit at our neighborhood café and sip tea, decorate a cake, eat a snack, and write a blog post.
I have yet to prepare a dish of roasted veggies for tonight’s potluck, shower, get ready, and drive out to the gathering of friends and strangers.
So thankful for time.

That’s amazing! This sounds like a perfect day. One of my favorite quotes (wisdom crocheted on a decorative wall hanging at my Grandparent’s house):
“Nothing is ours but time”
Love it!
