When I went to bed last night, I was imagining that my blog post title today would be “Today I Don’t Feel Like Doing Anything.” I was tired, cranky, hungry, and had a slight headache. Basically, I felt like crap.
However, when I woke up this morning, I felt much better! I think a good night’s sleep combined with my body adjusting to the reduction in calorie intake made the difference.
As far as adjusting to the green smoothie diet. Yeah, I’m glad it’s just one more day. And there’s no way I would be even able to type at this point if I hadn’t snuck in some avocado and chia seeds (the website said it was OK for “athletes”).
I can be an athlete.
I spent the morning helping a friend out with some website decisions, did a little social media work (I love that my profession involves playing on Twitter and Facebook), and now it’s time to continue studying for my AdWords certification. I want to take the exam this weekend!
So I’m still alive. I’m still writing. And I have a new-found appreciation for what it’s like to be hungry. That’s not a bad thing to experience every now and again.
