There’s been a lot going on the last few days. Yesterday, I passed the second AdWords certification exam (two exams required for certification), and I’ve also been busy getting ready to launch my micro-business (more details to come soon!).
Last night, I was feeling a bit under the weather (but still went to the local movie theater my my husband to see Moneyball, which was great!). When I went to bed, I decided that if I still felt like crap in the morning, I would take a staycation in bed.
I woke up and felt crappy. So I stayed in bed until 9:30 AM. Then I got up and took a hot shower with the hope of clearing up my sinuses, ate puffed quinoa with chopped almonds (I get to add tree nuts today!), dried currants, and almond milk (yes, I know, *very* crunchy…), wrote a shopping list for my hubby, and went back to bed – this time with my laptop, my dog, my daughter, and a cut-up apple.
The rest of the day, I’m going to read Stephen King books, watch movies, and eat nuts – lots of nuts. And tomorrow, I’m going to be all better! (I’m a big fan of “nip-it-in-the-bud” when it comes to illness as opposed to the traditional “power through it” approach used by most professionals in this country.)
